The Persei Fellowship has grown into an organization for the scientific elite around the Universe. Established as a center for information exchange and scientific discovery, PFEL strives to push the limits of the known.

History

Originally established by two roommates while attending Graduate Studies at the University of Persei Analytical Research and Quantification (UPARQ) in the Rhetor System, the Persei Fellowship has grown into an organization for the scientific elite in the Universe.

Making its humble beginnings as a class project to improve the efficiency of rare element harvesting from asteroids the founders decided to put their processes to work for a profit on the side of classes. A result of the high efficiency and high value of elements being harvested the organization had a lot of spare funding to pursue more noble ventures.

While the backbone of PFEL was its highly profitable mining division , it is the science division to which all funding and resources funnel to in the organization. The science division was the second major division of the organization that was created with the marching orders to develop their curiosities and inquiries into answers.
