Pinnacle Defense was founded by a group of former military personnel who served in the United Empire of Earth’s elite forces. After retiring from active duty, they recognized the need for a specialized security organization that could provide top-notch protection to high-value clientele, and regular citizens all around. In the vast and unpredictable expanse of the ‘Verse, a beacon of safety emerged in the ever-expanding cosmos. During the wake of escalating piracy and lawlessness, Pinnacle Defense was born out of necessity. In the early years of the 30th century, as humanity pushed the boundaries of exploration and commerce, it became clear that the existing security approach was insufficient to protect the flourishing colonies and trade scattered across Stanton.

Enter Captain Olivia “Apex” Reynolds, a seasoned veteran with a vision for a safer and more secure home for aspiring Citizens to call home. Having served in the military and worked as a security consultant, Reynolds understood the growing need for private groups that could function independently from the UEE and corporations. In 2942 she gathered a group of like-minded individuals, each bringing their unique skills to the table, and thus, Pinnacle Defense was born. Only six years later, Reynolds disappeared during a mission to the lawless system of Pyro. None of her team were ever heard from again, and it is speculated that she must have perished. Although, a strange transmission was intercepted from a secure channel that belonged to her squad. Nothing has been heard since.

The organization’s primary goal is to provide top-tier security solutions to a wide range of clients, from mega corporations transporting valuable cargo, to freelance miners seeking protection on the fringes of explored space. Pinnacle Defense quickly gained a reputation for its unwavering commitment to its clients, and its ability to handle the most challenging situations.
