Contracts

Contracts are accepted and assigned at the corporate level. Crews may not forfeit or accept contracts during their rotation without seeking corporate approval.

Staffing

Crews are assigned to ships based on their expertise, competency during rotations, and personality profiles, and are optimized to yield the greatest efficiency during a rotation. Transfers may be requested at any time buy contacting the Pur’n‘Kleen® Human Resources office.

Payment

Upon completing a contract, Pur’n‘Kleen® will issue payment to the crew of the mission. Employees will have opportunities to earn bonuses for meeting the highest standards of quality.

Situational Procedures

All Pur’n‘Kleen® employees should abide by the following guidelines for the situations listed below.

Distress Signals

Should any Pur’n‘Kleen personnel encounter a distress signal in the course of a rotation, they are obligated to investigate.

Derelict Vessels/Salvage

If any derelict or salvageable vessels are encountered by employees not operating in the Pur’n‘Kleen® salvage division, the salvage may be claimed by the crew with the captain’s discretion. The crew are expected to maintain their shipping schedules. At the conclusion of the contract, employees will receive a bonus in proportion to the value of the salvaged materials.

Attack

In the event of a pirate or Vanduul attack, employees are advised to follow the listed procedures:

1. Adhere to all orders given by escort craft.
   1. Escort craft are defined as any friendly craft suitable to interception. These forces include any local police or militia forces, UEE military vessels, hired security firms, or Pur’n‘Kleen®’s own escort vessels.
2. Preform evasive maneuvers and attempt to escape from any attackers.
3. If defensive measures have failed and escort craft are incapacitated, broadcast an S.O.S. signal and begin negotiations with attackers.

Transportation

The heart of Pur’n‘Kleen®, the Transportation Division is the oldest and largest of the company’s divisions. Employees part of the Transportation Division will command and crew a vast number of ships, from the quick Constellation Taurus to the lumbering Starfarer to the bulky Hull series. Individuals looks for steady, secure line of work can find a great career with the Transportation Division.

Escort and Security

For the bold, hot-shot pilots of the ‘verse, Pur’n‘Kleen® offers positions in its Escort and Security Division. These individuals will work in close cooperation with those of the Transportation Division to keep convoys safe from pirates and Vanduul raiders. Whether you are manning a Constellation’s turret or dogfighting in a Hornet, you’ll be keeping the shipping lanes safe.

Exploration

Join Pur’n‘Kleen®’s newest divsion: the Exploration Division! Pur’n‘Kleen® is in a constant search for new raw resources to supply high-population planets such as Earth and Terra. Explorers in this division will operate alone or in small groups to map new jump points and survey uncharted systems to assess their value.

Mining

Picking up where the explorers left off, employees in the Pur’n‘Kleen® Mining Division venture far out into newly charted regions to extract valuable minerals and metals.

These employees are entrusted with commanding the largest ships Pur’n‘Kleen® has available. Captains are responsible for the property entrusted to them, as well as the actions of their crew, but also receive improved benefits.

Directors

Pur’n‘Kleen®’s is looking for individuals capable of overseeing the four company divisions: Transportation, Escort, Exploration, and Mining. Prospective Division Directors must have experience in these fields to be considered for the position and must be able to effectively coordinate multiple large groups of employees.
