Late 2954, the private military company Ratukk was formed as an independent company willing to do freelance work in both military and industrial fields. Although freelance work is an important factor, it isn’t the heart of Ratukk, as most activity is done for the benefit of each member and the company as a whole. With each members commitment to defend each other at a moments notice and the agreement to make the company prosperous, there isn’t much stopping Ratukk from the inside. To the public, Ratukk follows the law, but inside the company, there isn’t much the members of Ratukk wouldn’t do to benefit each other, law or no law. As such, Ratukk is a tight knit organization with a selective recruitment process and low amount of members compared to populous organizations.

At this moment in time, Ratukk is in it’s infancy, and it’s history is still being written.

About Us

Recruitment & Activity

To be recruited, the applying individual must show loyalty and respect towards members. This means respecting other organization members as well as others around you. They also must prove that they can represent the organization wholly and get along with people. Other factors that may contribute will be decided by the recruiter.

Factors that don’t impact entry include: The ability to be talkative (no need to be a social butterfly), sexuality, gender, race, neurodivergence, location (we have members across the world), and other factors.

The community of Ratukk is selective because most org members inside know each other somewhat. We want most members to be comfortable confronting each other.

After applying, leadership will personally message you the next steps towards recruitment and give you a direct path towards entry.

Post-Recruitment

Training is informal, and at request of either leadership, or the recruit themselves. Promotion through the ranks of the organization is decided through general activity throughout the organization and necessity.

Members of Ratukk are rarely, if ever, kicked out after joining. There are obligations outside of the organization that members must confront, and leadership understands this. The only reason a member would be kicked out include: inactivity for months at a time without prior notice, disloyalty, disrespect towards other members (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. Just respect the other person for who they are).

Community Activity

Personal Activity in the community of Ratukk isn’t set in stone, but expectations (if obligation outside of Ratukk isn’t present) include interacting with the community in some way every few days – week. This could be sending a few chats, posting something on the discord forum or spectrum, talking with members in a public voice chat, contributing in game in some way (more important when base building is incorporated into the game), etc.

Many events are hosted throughout the community, like movie nights, watch parties, in-game activities (org exclusive), activities for other games, etc. Feel free to join one, even if outside of the organization!

Game Activity

In Star Citizen, Ratukk does almost every activity in the game, for the organization itself, or for others for a price.
Traditional work for contractors from Ratukk:

• Organized ground combat
• In atmosphere or vacuum dogfighting
• Escort
• Any kind of combat

Non-traditional work for contractors from Ratukk, or additional work done internally:

• Mining
• Salvaging
• Cargo hauling/commodity trading
• Logistics (moving weapons between members)
