History
With the love to Yela and the planets natural resources for self medication (back in the days), the need of getting out of atmosphere with ones ass in place evoked some ideas. What if we could help people reach the stars, with their asses in place?
Reconnaissance and protection was a natural part of the process of getting the product and if the cargo went missing, the bounty was usually high, especially when it was packed in a +96 cargo capacity ship.
So years of protecting assholes finally created the elite force that the SIIG is today.
