Those who have lost their battle with petty, common reason may find their home here…

History

Welcome friend, and be at peace.
There is no need to maintain the common affect you assume for those on the outside, for here you will find those who reflect the hidden facets of your true self, should you choose to show them.
We are now, and have always been. More than that need not be said.

Manifesto

Soon the Great Journey will be upon us, and each one must vanish into the darkness, leaving only dust and echoes in their wake.

We, the strong, the brilliant, the mad, shall take our rightful place among the stars— carving our home from rock and fire. We will be quick and cunning; we will lurk in shadow and rain down such fire as only gods have ever known. We will seek out the darkest corners of the void and make them our own.

Ours is to survive, to endure the slings and arrows of those who would not believe and to persevere.
We will live on.

Elucidation
  • There are none among us who are beyond compassion, even those who are beyond salvation must be shown mercy. We will not act as an aggressor, conflict begets only hardship. We must act only in defense, and then only to an extent mandated by survival.
  • No one among us is without flaw, and so long each among us lives in accordance with our tenets, all else will be forgotten and forgiven.
  • There will be a time for each of us to lead and to follow. These times will be dictated by fortune and circumstance, not by rank. Give true consideration to all orders. If an order is given in error, you must not follow it, but instead assume the responsibility of governing your own actions as well as those within your influence.
  • No one among us may have true authority over another, be they our own or an outsider. We may influence, not control. Know that just as you may forgo the command of another, so may another forgo your own command, and that so long as they have not broken from the tenets of our cause, you must not seek intervention.
  • Our strength must not be assumed in number, but backed by courage and conviction. We must keep safe those who have taken up our cause, knowing that they will do the same for us. So long as they are within reach, any one among us in need of help need only call, and all who hear that call will come to their aid. No danger shall be too great, no foe too numerous, no expense too costly to hinder our loyalty. However, those who stray beyond immediate reach must do so knowing they alone are responsible for their safety.
  • All among us may choose to associate as they choose. No association will be held as a black mark, even those to factions which have instigated conflict in the past.
