History

Rise Against Oppression

The Slags began as a simple group of nomadic people. We were free to roam the verse without interruption of trade and travel. We never intended to hurt anyone… Until the UEE came long.

The UEE Colonization

To many, the UEE were a helpful faction, one aimed to bettering the lives of the people. In doing so, they hurt us more than anyone else has ever before. Cities began being built on our home worlds. The colonization of the verse forced us out of our homes, away from our families. Some stayed, most left. We were homeless, starless, and planetless.

Black Slags

With the giant shift in the economy due to the habitation of our solar systems, our goods became contraband, but justice doesn’t serve the meals. We adopted the name Black Slags as we had to delve into the black market. We became enemies in the eyes of the UEE and deemed ‘pirates’.

Resistance

Over time the UEE has made efforts to stop us. Their petty politics have ruined our lives. Only recently have they started taking our brethren captive and executing them behind curtained walls. We must take arms against them, by any means necessary. Sell on the market, sabotage the economy. Do what you can and we welcome you.

Fight

They may take our homes, our planets and our belongings but they will not take our freedom or our lives!

Roriah founded the Black Slags alongside Advice Wizard. Roriah is at the highest of official positions. Add him ingame for any questions.

AdviceWizard was humble with the founding and left the commanding to Roriah.

What We Want From You

The Black Slags aim to be a legit, large and respected organization that is recognized for its accomplishments and piracy. We want to be an open community with potential for everyone to easily jump right in and enjoy the life of a space pirate. Smuggling and the stealing of cargo/ships will be our main source of income and growth. As long as you do something along the border of the law or outside it, you’ll fit right in.

Being a Black Slag Member

Your duties as a pirate in the verse is just as we said above. Pirate when you can, and smuggle when you should. We expect each member to contribute to the Black Slags in any way they can, little or small. Recruitment is largely encouraged as we want to build this community as big as possible. We also expect good attitude from each member and respect for your Slag brothers. Fight for one another and die for one another. If you need help, ask. We don’t have many rules here, and you’re a pirate, we don’t bode well with laws anyways. So please, just follow what little we have here.

  1. To become one of the largest pirate syndicates of SC
  2. To be a respectable force in the economy of the players in SC
  3. Be the go to organization for the Black Market
  4. Grow our community to new heights
  5. Become a force to be reckoned with

What it Means to be a Black Slag Member

An ideal Slag member is a ruthless but suave and caring person. Someone who isn’t afraid to delve into danger and steal cargo, but able to sweet talk their way out of sticky situations. A person who cares for his brothers in arms, and a motivated individual. If you think you have these three qualities, you’re ready to become a Slag.
