Like the majority of citizens on Reisse, Dav was heavily opposed to the corrupt nature and military-industrial complex of the United Earth Empire. However after a particularly vocal denouncement of UEE citizenship requirements, that went viral over the spectrum, Dav only found barred doors on Rhetor III, and a termination of his UEE citizenship.

After being unable to complete his final year of his degree in Xenohistory and Xenoenvrionmental Science, Dav’s luck hadn’t completely run out. He remembered what he had found while studying the Hadesian caves on Hades II, a derelict Anvil Carrack… No one had dared delve into this alien ship after Dav had shown the wreck to his peers, due to a strange sighting near the ship… venturing back to the derelict, Dav decided that there was not much to lose… and entered the craft, eerily finding everything to be operational and fully functioning. After scraping the Chronicler into the side of the Carrack’s hull, Dav never looked back, though he was sure something was looking at him.

He went on to found StarReach Xenohistory and Exploration, conducting research and voyages not only in lawless space away from the grasp of the UEE, but in places no one dared to go…
