Guardians of the Galaxy: Charter

Preamble

We, the Guardians of the Galaxy, bound by a shared thirst for exploration, ingenuity, and the safeguarding of those who seek to carve their own destiny among the stars, do hereby establish this Charter as the guiding tenets of our organization.

Article I: Membership

Pathfinders: Guardians actively engaged in exploration, seeking out the unknown and mapping the furthest reaches of the verse.
Innovators: Guardians dedicated to research, engineering, and the advancement of technology that expands our capabilities within the cosmos.
Protectors: Guardians who dedicate themselves to safeguarding fellow explorers, traders, and those who venture into the verse with peaceful intent.

Article II: Conduct

Respect: All members shall treat fellow Guardians, and all they encounter out in the verse, with dignity and respect, regardless of background or affiliation.
Collaboration: Guardians shall value teamwork, sharing knowledge, resources, and offering assistance freely where needed.
Non-Aggression: Guardians shall never initiate unprovoked violence. Retaliation is permissible and encouraged in defense of life or property for oneself or those we are sworn to protect.
Upholding the Oath: Members shall act in accordance with the Oath of the Guardians and the principles outlined within.

Article III: Leadership

GuruG: The founding visionary of the Guardians of the Galaxy, leader by example and by the consent of the governed.
Council of Stars: Senior members selected by GuruG and upheld by the organization as a whole to advise, guide specialized operations, and ensure the charter is upheld.

Article IV: Operations

Exploration: Organized expeditions shall be conducted to chart new systems, discover valuable resources, and uncover the secrets of the universe.

Article V: Amendments

The Charter may be amended by GuruG with advisement from the Council of Stars. Amendments must uphold the founding principles of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
