We, the Freelance Militia, rally together as a collective of like-minded individuals, united in our commitment to defend against griefers, pirates, and all who threaten the safety and freedom of citizens of Stanton.

History

The Freelance Militia was born out of a shared desire for freedom and protection within Stanton. In 2950, a group of likeminded individuals banded together, recognizing the need for a collective defense against griefers, pirates, and other nefarious entities that threatened the safety and tranquility of explorers and traders alike.

As The Freelance Militia continues to grow and evolve, its legacy is marked by countless acts of bravery and selflessness. The organization has become a beacon of hope for those seeking to explore the universe without fear, inspiring others to stand up against tyranny and join the ranks of the defenders of freedom.

Looking to the future, The Freelance Militia remains steadfast in its mission. With each passing day, they continue to adapt and improve their strategies, embracing new technologies and tactics to ensure the safety and prosperity of all who embrace the spirit of exploration within Stanton!

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

“The Freelance Militia is composed of like-minded individuals who seek a more militant career within the Freelance Alliance, for whatever reason they may.”

We use the term “Militia” to refer to our armed forces for a reason. The Freelance Militia is not a formal military. It is not expected, nor is it thought reasonable, that you should attend every training, patrol, operation, or other event that the Militia might host or participate in.

However, if you have opted to join the Freelance Militia, it is expected that you have done so because you are willing, able, and desire to participate in militaristic activities, and seek, expect, and accept what comes with that. Therefore, it is expected that you make a point of attending Militia training ops, patrols, and operations when able and within reason.

We understand that your time is your own. However, we expect you to understand that if you have willingly enlisted in the Freelance Militia, you will be expected to go beyond what is expected of an ordinary Freelancer in terms of engagement and involvement with the Alliance, and that you are expected to attend Militia operations and training sessions. You are expected to understand that consistent failure to do so may hinder your ability to advance, or result in your removal from the Freelance Militia.

Please also understand that these expectations are not imposed with the intent to exclude participation. Rather, they were conceived by and for those who not only accept that these responsibilities are a core part of the Freelance Militia, but who welcome and desire the structure and duty that the Freelance Militia demands.”

Our foremost objective is to safeguard and uphold the fundamental freedoms of all citizens of Stanton. As the vigilant defenders of liberty, we protect the rights of individuals to explore, trade, and engage in lawful activities without the constant threat of aggression or oppression. We champion a system that values the pursuit of knowledge, creativity, and peaceful coexistence above all else.

Defense against Tyranny:

We remain ever vigilant against the encroachment of tyranny, both from external adversaries and those within. Our unwavering dedication is focused on maintaining a balance between order and freedom, resolutely opposing any force that seeks to disrupt the delicate equilibrium of Stanton.

Exemplifying Honor and Integrity:

In the pursuit of justice and protection, we adhere to the highest standards of honor and integrity. Our actions reflect the values we hold dear, as we conduct ourselves with honesty, fairness, and transparency. By upholding these principles, we serve as shining examples of righteousness, inspiring others to embrace the same ideals.

Empowering Exploration:

Exploration is an integral part of the Star Citizen experience, and we actively encourage and facilitate it.
