Ursi Unlimited / URSI

Following cessation of hostilities at the end of the Vanduul War, the mercenary contracts that drove the Vega based URSI P.M.C. dried up. The group was forced to look for opportunities to apply their combat skills and pre-war careers in other arenas.

URSI Unlimited was founded in the year 2947 following the joining of the URSI P.M.C. organization and Josef von Rügen (previously a member of the weapons manufacturing division at Kastak Arms before founding his own Weapons Corp.). Von Rügen brought 10+ years of weapon manufacturing and research experience and the corporate management skills needed by the mercenary URSI P.M.C. group.

Using first hand knowledge of front line hardened combat veterans and Kastak business acumen, URSI Unlimited seeks to create better, more accurate weapons, designed by the finest weapon artisans and sets itself apart with a policy of treating its employees with dignity and respect like family.

To prevent other corporations from observing their newly developed weapons manufacturing techniques, URSI Unlimited relocated their research and manufacturing facilities to the remote Nyx system in 2954. In early 2455 URSI Unlimited leveraged its previous successes to branch out into other areas and services such as procuring resources and transportation; and has set goals into expanding into other fields.
