Our company was founded on one basic necessity, Money. Since its dark days under the rule of the Dread Pirate Scruffy to the UEE business licence holding delivery service it is today under Professor Farnsworth this has remained true with only the methods and safety standards adjusting.

Vermögen Heavy Industries was first founded in 2840 by the great dread pirate Scruffy. The company was supposed to be the legal arm of his operation should he ever wish to segway out of the lucrative pirate sector. During one of his many drunken card games Scruffy had found himself on the losing side of an ever increasing bet. In a drastic attempt to keep face the Dread Pirate Scruffy bet Vermögen Heavy Industries against the now current owner, Professor Hubert Farnsworth. Using his forward time machine he was able to secure the bet and win the company.

The company has had many iterations before finaly becoming an intergalactic delivery service. In its early days under the Dread pirate Scruffy Vermögen started as a laundry mat, lacking any real planing past “washing” his money. Later in his career Scruffy had the laundry mat converted into a pizza shop that he thought he could some day run as a legitimate owner. It was at this stage in the companies short life that Professor Farnsworth was able to wrestle it from the grasps of scruffy and make the company legal. It was his goal to fund continued research after being ousted from Mars University with the small pizzaria but soon found himself pulled in a different direction. With his research requiring data gathered from across the Sol system it was only fitting that he retire his space pizza delivery fleet and rebrand the company as a taxi service. This last one week exactly ending with the stranding of a customer on Pluto due to “Bad Hygiene” as the Professor put it. With the paint still fresh on his fleet Vermögen was born as it remains today, your first choice in intergalactic package delivery.
