Vengeance Wing / VWING

Background information:-
Vengeance Wing was formed by Ross King Callsign K1NGP1N. Ross was raised by a wealthy family on the edge of UEE space. He eventually inherited his family’s technology firm, as well as all of the slaves attached to it. He also reveals that he was essentially raised by a slave after the passing of his mother, and thus treated his slaves very well; he even gave his slaves their freedom a year before he re-enlisted in the UEE.

King did his mandatory 3 years UEE service once he turned 18 and achieved the rank of Lieutenant. Once his 3 years were up he returned home to help with the family business.

When the Vanduul War intensified King answered the call to arms and quickly rose to the rank of Vice Admiral, having stated that his men “flew to hell and back” for him. King saw numerous battles throughout the war, including action at Tiber and Virgil systems.

Near the end of King’s tour of duty, the ground based interests in his technology firm were destroyed, along with his wife and son by a group of renegade UEE personnel during the UEE’s retreat from Tiber to the Virgil system. King set out to wreak his vengeance on the UEE deserters responsible, ultimately forming what we know today as Vengeance Wing.

The UEE loaned King the use of the Idris M class Frigate that he commanded during the Vanduul war to use in tracking down the UEE deserters that killed his family. This ship became known as Vengeance.

King returned to his home system looking for clues to his wife’s killers. He rounded up what was left of his technology firm which included an Endeavor science and research vessel a Starfarer Gemini, Banu Merchantman and numerous smaller ships.

It took years following up countless leads for King and his loyal band of brothers to finally track down the UEE renegades responsible for his wife’s death. They were the crew of the UEE Retribution a Javelin Class Destroyer that mutinied when they refused Kings direct order to help him reinforce the Tiber system all those years ago. The Retribution looked a shadow of her former self having been starved of the spear parts that she needed whilst being on the run from the UEE. The Destroyer had finally jumped her last jump and her crew had made a controlled crash landing on a planet in an outlying system. The crew were slowly breaking the Retribution down into parts and selling them to fund there life of crime drugs and anything else on the wrong side of the law.

On jumping into the system Kings small fleet caught the attention of an outlying sensor beacon warning the renegades of their approaching doom. By the time king arrived at the planet they had fled in whatever ships would still make the jump to the next system. All that remained was the stripped down hull of the Destroyer which was laying tilted over to one side nose down in the sand where she had crash landed.

And this is where you find us today. Vengeance wing has set up base around the planet that is the Destroyers resting place and are tirelessly working on bringing the Retribution back online ready to join the hunt for Vengeance on the former crew of the UEE Retribution.
