Stand for what’s right, even if you stand alone.
Wildhammer Securities was forged in the fires of war and government betrayal. Its founder, Korwinthale, once served as a special operations medic within a UEE elite ground strike force, deployed during the relentless war against the Vanduul. He and his team operated deep behind enemy lines, conducting high-risk extractions, securing wounded troops under fire, and holding the line in some of the most brutal battles ever fought. But as the war raged on, another battle was being lost—not against an alien enemy, but against humanity itself.
The chaos of war left entire sectors vulnerable, and opportunists thrived in the vacuum. Time and again, Korwinthale and his unit were forced to divert from their primary missions to respond to distress calls from abandoned colonies, UEE supply convoys left to die, and civilians discarded as collateral damage. Yet, time after time, the UEE command dismissed these concerns, prioritizing strategic military objectives over the survival of the very people they were sworn to protect.
Korwinthale and his men watched in horror as entire outposts were left defenseless, entire families massacred or enslaved, and refugee transports drifted lifeless through space, their crews betrayed by the same empire they once believed in. Despite their pleas for UEE intervention, their requests were ignored. Reinforcements never came. Bureaucrats in the Empire labeled the suffering of its own citizens as “an unfortunate consequence of war”, a problem they would deal with later—but for those suffering on the frontiers, later never came.
Korwinthale wasn’t alone in his disillusionment. There were three men who had stood beside him through it all, watching the same horrors unfold, and each reached his breaking point in his own way. They were known only by their call signs:
Dustoff – A medevac pilot, Dustoff wasn’t there to fight—he was there to save lives. He had flown into hot zones unarmed and unarmored, landing under fire to pull wounded marines and civilians out of warzones. But when he was ordered to leave wounded behind to meet an arbitrary “fuel efficiency ratio”, he decided he would fly for something more than bureaucracy.
Fear – The shock trooper, the one they sent in first. Fear earned his name by striking terror into his enemies, but when he wasn’t on the battlefield, he was the first to advocate for the innocent. The UEE had shaped him into a weapon, but when they started using that weapon to protect some bureaucrats yacht over a nearby civilian colony……………
Greasy – A material acquisition specialist and engineer, Greasy’s job wasn’t just to fix things—it was to find things. He had a talent for getting what his team needed, whether through official supply chains or more… unconventional means. When UEE bureaucracy slowed the flow of critical parts and ammunition to a crawl, Greasy made sure his unit had what they needed to keep fighting, eventually having to scrape up everything from virtually nothing………
One by one, they each reached their breaking point. Orders were being given that no soldier with a conscience could follow. They had seen too much. They had saved too many who were never supposed to be saved. And when the day came that the Empire branded them as traitors for doing the right thing, they vanished into the void together—taking their skills, their weapons, and their loyalty not to a government, but to the people who needed them most.
They weren’t alone for long. Others who had also lost faith in the UEE began seeking them out—pilots, soldiers, engineers, and medics disillusioned by the corruption of the Empire, drawn to something greater. Together, they would carve their own path, answering to no government, fighting for those left behind.
Operating beyond the reach of corrupt officials and useless mandates, Wildhammer Securities took the fight directly to the lawless. They became the terror that criminals feared. They struck at pirate strongholds, disrupted slaver networks, and extracted the wounded from battlefields where no official rescue would come. Their name spread through whispers and warnings and those who preyed upon the helpless learned to fear the Wildhammer.
Now, they have found a new battleground. The Pyro system, a haven for piracy and lawlessness, has become their latest warfront. Where the UEE refuses to act, they will. Where corruption leaves people to die, they will intervene.
Unsurprisingly the UEE seems to turn a blind eye to Wildhammer’s activities as in truth it saves them a great deal of effort and credits allowing them to “clean up the mess”.
Wildhammer Securities was not built for conquest or profit. It was built for war—the war that must be fought when all others turn their backs.
The void will not be kind to those who stand against them.

I. Our Purpose
The galaxy is plagued by lawlessness—pirates who prey upon the weak, alien invaders who seek dominion of Terran worlds, and criminals who revel in the chaos between. The so-called “authorities” are either too slow, too corrupt, or too afraid to act. We are not.
We are the line between order and anarchy. We are the retribution that criminals and aliens fear and the salvation that the innocent pray for.
II. Our Creed
Justice, Not Vengeance: We do not act out of hatred, but out of necessity. The guilty must fall, but our cause is not blind destruction.
Strength With Honor: Power without purpose is no better than tyranny. We wield force with discipline, striking only where it is needed.
Loyalty to the Mission: Our duty is to the innocent and to our own code not some far flung uncaring bureaucratic government.
III. Our Methods
We fight with precision, discipline, and overwhelming force. We are not soldiers bound by orders, nor mercenaries chasing profit. We are hunters of those who terrorize the innocent, and we strike where they believe themselves untouchable. Pirates, warlords, and slavers find no sanctuary from our wrath.
We operate in the void and on the ground, infiltrating, intercepting, and eliminating threats before they can spread. When we move, we do so with purpose—every bullet fired, every blade drawn, is a promise kept to those who cannot defend themselves.
Yet, war alone does not define us. Where destruction leaves ruin, we bring aid. Our hands wield both the rifle and the medkit, delivering not only judgment, but salvation. We extract the wounded, protect the defenseless, and restore what others seek to destroy.
IV. Our Oath
We were once soldiers, abandoned by the UEE we bled for. Now, we fight not for flags, but for justice. We swear to hold the line where others falter. We swear to protect those who cannot protect themselves. We swear to bring fire upon the wicked and light to the lost.
This is our cause. This is our war. This is our redemption.
We are Wildhammer Securities.
